Celebrate National Insect week with Life on the Edge - Meet the Bees!
This event is part of South Devon National Landscape's Life on the Edge project.
Did you know that Prawle Point is home to the rarest bee in the UK – the 6-Banded nomad bee? We might not be lucky enough to see one of these, but we should see plenty of their host bees – the Long-horned mining bees, as well as lots of other amazing beasties!
Stroll down to the coast with our expert John Walters and find out more about these wonderful insects and what we are doing to try and secure a future for them here.
