Situated in the heart of the National Trust Killerton estate, Broadclyst boasts beautiful countryside and woodlands scattered with thatched cottages, steeped in local history.
The centre of the village is dominated by a very pretty village green displaying some fine examples of mature trees and a thatched bus shelter. Only five miles from Exeter city centre Broadclyst manages to remain distant from the city, yet close enough to be handy for the large shops and other services.
Broadclyst can be reached by bus; a regular service operates throughout the day and during the early evening.
Facilities within the village include an excellent village store and post office, (National Trust) Killerton House and Markers cottage, an outstanding network of local rights of way and footpaths, sports centre, church pubs and restaurants.
